We need help from all concerned! The head of the pyrotechnic group of the Mobile Rescue Center of the Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Major of the Civil Protection Service Serhii Lenyuk needs your help!
On March 16, 2023, Serhii found himself in difficult life circumstances, while performing demining tasks for the liberated territories of the Kharkiv Oblast, namely in the Izyum district, he received a mine-explosive injury, as a result of which his right foot was amputated.
Serhii has vast experience in demining, and since 2009 he has worked in one of the structural units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine as the head of the demining group. He directly participated in the elimination of the consequences of explosions at the arsenal in the city of Lozov, Kharkivska Oblast, and ammunition depots in the city of Ichnya, Chernihivska Oblast, demined the territories of the Kyiv Oblast liberated from Russian invaders, and participated in the anti-terrorist operation. But the war did not pass him by.
We appeal to everyone who is able and willing to participate in the fundraising. Each hryvnia will be a significant help and will help in the treatment and rehabilitation of our heroes.
Every day, Ukrainian pyrotechnics risk not only their health but also their lives, protecting the Ukrainian people from enemy mines! We are proud of our unbreakable guys, their character and professionalism. Let’s not be indifferent! Together we can help Serhii get back on both feet!
Serhii is currently undergoing treatment at the Central Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Kyiv.
